Crisis Café Hackney

As well as offering a welcome cuppa, the Crisis Cafe is a safe, supportive and therapeutic place for anyone struggling and not coping with life. It means people do not have to be alone, struggling with upsetting thoughts or worry

Warm Places to Study: 

  1. University has extended Library opening hours so you have a warm place to study, charge your electronic devices and have access to free Wi-Fi.
  2. Bedford Library, 8.30am – midnight every day
  3. Luton Library, open 24/7. Please be advised that library staff hours will be different during the Easter break, however security will be onsite.

Homelessness or Housing Issues:

  1. Visit the university Homelessness Support Page for information including external agency support including local council who can provide housing advice and support for individuals living within specific areas. 
  2. Please be advised if you require emergency accommodation, visit your local council or if you feel there immediate risk to your safety and life, contact 999 or visit your local police station.
