What is the difference between a scholarship, grant, bursary and loan?
Scholarships
- Are given based on achievement or excellence in academic, sports or music with the aim to help with some living costs or tuition fees
Grants
- Are given based on low household income, background or personal circumstances, eg. Disabled students, students from particular regions or countries with the aim to help with some living costs or specific purposes
Bursaries
- Are given based on low household income, background or personal circumstances, eg. Disabled students, students from particular regions or countries with the aim to help with
Loans
