  • There is also the Student Common Room where there are around 6 round tables which students can use to work on – each table fits around 4 people.

Can I loan a laptop?

Yes, you can! There are a small selection of laptops available to borrow - just make sure you return it within a week!

Are there spaces for silent study?

Students are generally expected to work quietly in the library, and so it should usually provide you with a silent environment to work.

Are there any spaces to do group work?

  • The Student Common Room is the best place to work as a group, as you don’t have to talk quietly there.
  • Students are generally expected to work quietly in this Library, however discussing work in groups can be permitted, as long as it is done quietly.

What if I need a room to book to do group work?

Unfortunately, there are no designated rooms for this which you can book like at the libraries on some of the other campuses.
